Kenneth W. Humphrey II
Harriman Tennessee


Kenneth Humphrey was born on March 13, 1975 in Lafollette Tennessee. He lived in Campbell County until he was an early teen and moved to Harriman Tennessee.

Kenny became a police explorer with the Knox County Sheriff’s Department at age 16 and the Knoxville Police Department at age 17. At age 18 Kenny joined the Roane County Emergency Management Agency’s Auxiliary Police force where he first began to ride along with the Harriman Police Department and other local law enforcement agencies in Roane County.

At age 20 Kenny joined the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department as a reserve deputy and sent himself through the Walters State Community College Police Academy before being hired as a full-time patrol deputy sheriff.

At age 23 Kenny joined the Oliver Springs Police Department and in 2005 served on the Oliver Springs planning commission.

In 2006 at age 31 Kenny became a member of the Harriman Police Department and served as a detective. In 2008 Kenny was promoted to the rank of Captain. In 2009 at age 34 he was promoted to the rank of Assistant Chief of Police and in 2010 Kenny was appointed to serve on the Harriman planning commission.

Kenny has dedicated his career to serving and protecting others. He has solved and prosecuted dozens of felony class cases ranging from armed robberies to sex crime cases in his career.

Kenny lives in East Tennessee with his wife Casey and has 2 wonderful children.
